More than 20 years ago, Sandra prepared for a career in non-profit management, with a degree in Political Science, from York University, and a diploma in Human Services Administration, from Sheridan College. Soon after she was lured away by the excitement of being a woman in a Trade. She was a Hydraulic Hose Technician in Burlington, where she worked with various types of equipment and customers from all sorts of industries. A common thread in the experience was to provide superior customer service. A few years ago, she hung up her steel-toed work boots, tool belt and safety glasses for office administration. She obtained a diploma as an Executive Office Assistant in 2012. Being a believer in lifelong education, she just completed a course in conversational French from Mohawk College. She finds helping patients have the best experience possible, with information and organizing appointments to fit their schedules most rewarding.
