Jessica completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She then went on to study at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN where she received an Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody, graduating with distinction. Through her clinical placement at the Michener Chiropody Clinic, as well as private clinics across Ontario, she has experience with providing foot and ankle care. Jessica has recently relocated to the Burlington area and is committed to providing clients with individualized footcare that leaves them pain free.
Growing up as a lifelong sports fan and having played multiple sports throughout high school, I recognized the importance of foot health. The ability to walk without pain or discomfort is something that most people take for granted. Once you lose that ability, your quality of life is diminished. I have made it my goal to improve my patient’s quality of life by providing them with exceptional foot care.
After completing my undergraduate studies and receiving my Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, I attended the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences and received my Advanced Diploma in Chiropody in 2022. While at the Michener Institute, I completed residencies in the public health sector where I worked with a severely at-risk population. I also completed a residency in the private health sector which I ultimately fell in love with and decided to pursue after completing my post-graduate studies.
Brianna is a 2021 graduate of the Office Administration-Health Services program at Sheridan College. Her continued love for healthcare brought Brianna to the Burlington Health Focus Foot Clinic where she works alongside our chiropodists as a back office assistant. When Brianna isn’t working, she spends time with family and with her cats.
